ActionAid Nigeria is recruiting a Digital Engagement Intern in Abuja for a one-year paid post-NYSC internship in the Communications unit, reporting to the Communications Coordinator. The role focuses on managing and strengthening the social media presence of the organisation’s leadership by creating engaging content (graphics, videos, infographics and photos) that reflects ActionAid’s mission and values, sharing the leader’s articles and opinion pieces, aligning posts with trending social justice and development topics, and updating accounts and responding to comments, messages and mentions under the Coordinator’s guidance. Candidates need a first degree in Mass Communication or a related field, relevant NYSC experience, proficiency with X, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, skills in content production, graphic design and mobile photography and videography, and a basic understanding of analytics tools. Discretion and confidentiality, attention to detail, time management, teamwork and flexibility with work hours are also essential.
